However, please be aware that finding a new job in Australia or New Zealand can be extremely challenging.
Finding a job in finance – and particularly finding your dream job! – can be a lengthy process. How quickly you will find a job will depend on many things, including; economic factors, which city you are looking to work in, your qualifications and skills, how you present yourself, your proficiency in English (both spoken and written) and the type of work you are looking for.
To give yourself the very best chance of securing a great new role in your new country of residence you will need to invest a substantial amount of time, energy & effort into the process both before you arrive and when you are here.

It will typically take a migrating ACCA Member 6 to 12 months to find a suitable job in ANZ. And this assumes that you have done your homework and are arriving fully prepared to seek a job. If you arrive unprepared, it can take up to 2 years to find a job in Australia and New Zealand.
No matter how well you prepare for your job search, finding a new role will more than likely take longer than anticipated. The reality is that finding – and securing – a great job could take several months, particularly if you’re at the senior level. Try to accept this reality at the start of your job search, so that you can maintain perspective and avoid feeling disheartened if things don’t immediately go your way.
